The most frequently asked questions and answers regarding personal training

We combine functional training with strength conditioning so that you remain mobile, pain free, and strong. Each program is tailored for the individual and their goals, current fitness level, and limitations (muscle imbalances, injuries etc.).

The majority of our clients fall into 4 categories:

  1. Shift Workers and Health Care professionals (nurses, doctors, surgeons, paramedics, and therapists) working at KGH, Hotel Dieu, or a private clinic.
  2. Education or Finance (working for Queens University, St Lawrence College, Government of Canada, or another large organization/company).
  3. Business Owners
  4. Retired (retired from a profession that falls within the first 2 categories listed above).

While this may be the majority of clients we service, we do work with a range of people in Kingston and the surrounding areas that fall outside of the professions listed. 

Personal Training packages all include 30 minute training sessions.

When necessary, you can combine sessions for 1 hour of training. This can work certain weeks with limited availability or goal dependent. In most cases we recommend 30-minute sessions because our clients have gotten better long-term results.

The regular price is $62.50/30-min or $125/1 hr session plus HST. Any promotions or discounts being offered will be highlighted in the Pricing table on the page for Personal Training.

Yes! If you’re looking to train with a partner we do offer an additional discount of 25% off per person to share your time and workout together. 

One of our values is True Integrity. From our collective experience we know that it takes a certain amount of effort and time to learn new skills and make transformational changes with the body. Big goals won’t be met within a few sessions and because of this we offer a minimum 12 week package (3 months).


Terms & Policies

All package lengths (3, 6, or 12 months) are customized to each client based on their goals. When you make a purchase of any personal training package you’re buying a predetermined amount of sessions. 

Example: 3-Month Package training 3x/week is 36 sessions. 

36 total sessions scheduled 3x/week would last 12 weeks. Time off for vacations etc. will simply extend the length of the package beyond 3 months (using the above example). 

You will be given a program for travel to maintain results until in-person training sessions can be scheduled again.

24-hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a training session.
